At Great Beginnings Pediatric Dentistry, we understand that we all have different financial realities at different times. We don’t want financial concerns to become an obstacle for families. We file all employer-based insurance plans for you.
(NOTE: we are NOT a Medicaid provider, so we cannot accept CareSource or any other state-sponsored plan.) We do accept the medical credit card known as CareCredit. Below we outline our payment options in greater detail, so you can start planning for your child’s needed care.
Options for Paying for Your Child's Dental Care
At Great Beginnings Pediatric Dentistry we strive to make each step of every visit as stress-free as possible, including the payment process. Our team of administrative professionals are committed to helping you maximize your dental insurance benefits, explore payment plan options, and provide accurate estimates. Our focus on preventative dentistry, airway health, and minimally invasive dentistry also help to minimize dental costs by preventing more costly procedures later on. We believe investing your child’s oral and airway health today will help them achieve a lifetime of healthy breathing and smiles.
In-Network Insurance Plans
We are in-network providers for Anthem (Blue Cross/Blue Shield), Cigna Dental, and Delta Dental. These plans enable us to give the most accurate estimates when we have your information at least 48 hours prior to your visit. Co-pays and deductibles are collected on the date of service, and we file for you. We will notify you of any changes in estimated coverage once we hear back from your insurance company.
Out-of-Network Insurance
Many families mistakenly believe that out-of-network (OON) means no coverage. That's not true! We will file primary OON claims for you. Many patients use and are pleased with the payment levels from MetLife and Aetna in our office. Please note that OON estimates may require more lead time for better accuracy, and some plans share more information with us than others. We encourage you to know your plans coverage dollar amounts, not their percentages.
Payment Plan: Apply for Care Credit
Care Credit (not to be confused with CareSource) is a health and wellness credit card that offers special financing options for those who qualify. Many of our families enjoy 6-12 months of 0% interest for 6-12 months depending on the amount financed. Applying is free and you'll receive a decision immediately. Once approved, you'll be able to use this line of credit for all members, for multiple visits, and at other medical and wellness establishments.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
You can use your HSA savings to pay for your child's care. Split pay options with your HSA and other payment methods are also an option if desired.
MasterCard & Visa
We accept credit card payments from Visa and MasterCard. We do ask for a card be kept on file for easy processing and contact-free payment.
Apple Pay & Google Pay
Yes, we accept Apple Pay and Google Pay for your convenience. This contact-free payment option allows you to control the type of credit, debit, or bank account you wish to link to your payment option.
Cash
We welcome cash payments of exact amount. We do not keep a cash drawer in our office, so change is not made. We encourage families to bring as close to the exact amount as possible, and any overpayment will be placed as a credit on the account.
Personal Checks
We accept personal checks. Please note that any returned check will be assessed a $50 processing fee in addition to the original payment amount.
