More About Dr. Laura Adelman, DMD
Dr. Laura attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for her dental school training. She completed here postdoctoral specialty training at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospitals of Cleveland, as well as Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. Her education now also included 20 years of hands-on experience caring for the dental health care needs of infants, children, and adolescents.
A beliver in life-long education, Dr. Laura seeks out and attends continuing education opportunities regularly. She, along with her team members, attends ADA and AAPD conferences annually. In addition, she recently received advanced training in all of the following:
- Pediatric sleep airway health through the ADA Pediatric Airway Congress
- Inspection for tethered oral tissues and the release of frenectomies with Dr. Soush Zagli, ENT and the Breathe Institute
- Myofunctional therapy through the Academy of Myofunctional Therapy
- Solea laser dentistry with Dr. Larry Kotlow
As her continuing education demonstrates, Dr. Laura focuses on treating the whole child. Her understanding of the interconnectedness between your child’s dental, oral, and airway health ensures a comprehensive treatment plan that best suits your child’s individual needs.
